Try to make a better life

‪To vouchsafe ‬

‪In a safe place‬
‪Where they can use their heads‬
‪For thoughts other than dread‬

‪Shouldn’t we do something?‬
‪There’s nothing to do. ‬
‪Look at those behaviors abhorred‬
‪The politicians say one thing‬
‪Thoughts and prayers, yet still slaughtered youth,‬
‪And others. What’s next in store?‬
‪We keep saying, saying‬
‪Guns don’t kill, people do.‬
