The irony of this country is people go to a goddess temple and plea for a baby boy.

I speak in cyclical tropes;
And, you declare my verses,
As magnificent hyperboles,
Of madness.
Yet, you fail to perceive
The wailing plea,
Embedded,
In between my lines--
Beseeching you to listen.

A little bit of heaven,
A tiny pinch of bliss;
That's all I ask--
A plaintive plea for peace.

गुज़ारिश कर रही हूँ, वक्त ज़रा धीरे से चल,

अभी मंज़िल कई हैं, करवटें ज़रा हौले बदल,

छूनी है कई ज़िन्दगियाँ, ऐसे के वो गुलफ़ाम हो,

बनाने हैं रिश्ते कई, के जिन पर दिल कुर्बान हो।

I talk a lot when I pray
Not a single word I say
I wonder if I'm favourite to thee
For you always amend my plea.

Fear in the eyes,
Scary are the vibes.
Mouth is shut,
Wanting to speak but -
An invisible force is acting,
Pressure is dominating.
'Rescue' is the plea,
From those who see.

"The naive negligent magnitude of
your tear in sujood, could echo your
plea on whole of seven heavens of
Allah." Power of your prayer.
