बेचैनी ने निचोड़ा है, झटकार दो ज़रा
नील में यूँ तर जाऊँ मैं, ख़ुमार दो ज़रा

रोम रोम मेरा तार तार, अब तुम्हीं से है
हथेलियों से तार पे तुम, उतार दो ज़रा

सर्द सर्द सा ये समा, और भीगा भीगा मैं
धूप दो, हवा को तुम, रफ़्तार दो ज़रा

है हवा गुनगुना रही, है नमी ये मिटा रही
हवा संग बह जाऊँ ना, पुकार दो ज़रा

एक वक़्त था
जब नींदों से भरी
आँखों की झील
पलकों की पतवार से
पार किया करते थे..
दूजे किनारे
ख़्वाबों के मेले जो सजते थे..

और अब,
आँखों की ये झील
सूखी पड़ी है,
इसमें महकती हुई
वो ठंडी नींद,
अब नहीं बहती...
