वो जुम्बिश-ए-लब से हमें तड़पाते रहे,
हम भी चुप्पी साधे उनको तकते रहे,
बोसा जो मिल जाता तो मुकाम फिर न बाकी कोई रहता,
बदल गए हैं ज़माने ग़ालिब शायद,
हर्फ़ दर हर्फ़ केह कर बतलाना होता है,
जो लफ़्ज़ों तक ना आती थी आरज़ू,
आज उन हसरतो में हासिल करने का मुकाम सा उनको दिखता है,
इन मुकामो को पूरा करते, वो इश्क़ ना मुझमे, ना बाकी उनमे बचता है,
मोहब्बत फिर समझा जा ए ग़ालिब हमको,
यहाँ एहसास महंगे हो चले, मैली हसरतो का मुकाम सस्ता है..
