Rituals beating the clock,
banquet fed the flock,
Day long party drained out aunties
Waiting for the day to end.
Shifting from blood to in-laws,
A bit.No,so much nervous.
Entered his house
self determined to show me flawless.
Nailed within me the do's and dont's,
mom with her rule of thumb tried her best
to fill the paints of my mind wall
to bury my devil and be an angel.
Thus
Fitting myself into their shell to be a pearly angel.
That's how I made my heaven.

the air was new and exciting all times in life.
But now it was of course
the more newer breeze within me and
much more worse my breathing.
I was like a leaf got up in the air.
Felt my skin so heavy looking for a place
Where I can get that space.
For the first time
My smiles were painted like a collage
With no phrases.
Almost all the way to be a good time artist
ever ready for my tap dance.

a place With no secrets of powerful love.
Have I misframed love and lust
with squares of oblique awkward angles ?
Plastered with too many mazes,
yet, secretly quenched and drenched
in the best of the season of love.
Blinded by the air and force anew
The tone of my steps took new turns afew.
All of a sudden I saw
The rest of my life has become
So much more complicated.
Its time now to unravel
the faces of His bloodline.
The so called in-laws, the people to confront the rest of my quest.

Struggling with my teeny-weeny aches I hold not myself back from my shopping thrills and Blind Dates 😉
Yes Single yet with my share of heartaches I have no qualm in saying Love Life and Life shall be Beautiful then just like the Poems I pen.

I felt old fashioned the day I couldn't catch up with people talking cool young stuff. The moment they were bragging about their personal lives. I felt an outsider.

Shallow people and shallow ideologies about love or life never allures me.

May be I prefer to live in the era when love was more than one week celebration of valentines. When people were pretty from inside, scars flaunted battles they've won, libraries charmed hearts and gyms weren't this crowded.

The things you find corny these days,
I love dwelling in that world.
