I miss you.
We were not in love
nor we were true friends.
Maybe, we were 'situational
friends', a bond formed
by the force of time,
only linked to be broken.
But, I miss you.

I miss you.
I know everything is temporary,
formed by sand, washed by sea.
Maybe, I'll never recall you
tomorrow, or I might,
have glimpses of the past.
But you know what, for now?
I miss you.

I might forget your face,
your name, if I have ever known.
But for now, I miss you
and I wonder if you too.

Baked clay,
made into a pot
will hold the ashes,
floating in water.
Even a wooden casket
might help.

Isn't it insignificant?

महौल्ला इकट्ठा हो गया,
उसमें उठती लहरों का तमाशा देखने के लिए...!!

आज़ादी की कीमत,
दूसरी कैद ना हो।

बीतें लम्हे ही नही है पैमाना बड़ी उम्र का ,

अक्सर बच्चे ही रख देते है फ़क़ीर की हथेली पर

सिक्का अपने दिन का।

Char logon ne patthar kya mare ek pur-aman jheel me,
Mahaulla ikattha ho gya,
Usme uthti lehero ka tamasha dekhne k liye...!!
