A pool of battle blood
as you breathe your last,

Oodles of blood
draining out
while you cramp,
you live, unholy.

Battles both.
One, ends in agony.
Other, starts with misogyny.
One, from the tomb.
Other, from the womb.

Blood, one.
Bloody abomination, the other.

People talk about Feminism globally
While they spread Misogyny at home!

Feminism, a word which we are all familiar to — advocacy of women's rights.
It saddens me every time, when I surf through social media only to find people demeaning the true nature and motive of feminism. Whenever I open my news feed, I find half a section of people posting about women empowerment and the rest half contradicting it. They are busy upholding the cons of feminism and how a few women (among a billion) are using it wrongly for their selfish means.
Then, there is this "pissed of" section of the Facebook community, who are always on their heels, ready to discourage any sort of upload regarding any social issue. Neither they will raise a voice, nor they will tolerate others raising their voices. I hate them.
In this era of modernization, women are matching their steps with men in almost every field. Yet, even in urban localities and townships, I have witnessed misogyny rooted strongly.
Conservative patriarchal households, which still exist in ample quantities, subjugate even the basic rights of the women in their family.
We, who are privileged to be raised up in an either semi conservative or open-minded ambiance, have no idea, what true misogyny is.

The voice comes through darkness
and has no face, this voice
becomes her mirror

be buried in hurt.
