I opened the window
And closed my eyes .
I felt the wind on my face
with the mix of rain drops
making noice at night .
The sway and creek of Trees
added to it
creating A music delight .
Shining stars got
hidden behind those black clouds ,
But drops of rain twinkled
under the street light .
The heavy rain , thunder ,
And the cold breeze at night ,
Had a mystic peace that made
It a paradise time to fall asleep .

तुम मिले भी मुझे तो सिगरेट की तरह,
बस इक कश लगाया और ज़िंदगी ख़ाक हो गई|

बुलन्दी में तैरते रहे हम उम्रों भर, धाक हो गयी
चिता पर बैठे जिस रोज़ जिन्दगी पाक हो गयी
मन की गांठे जलीं जोरों से सब राख हो गयी

मेरे रोने का...

वो क्या अफ़सोस करता
मेरे होने या न होने का...

आज बहुत खुश हूं
आज मुझे सुकून मिला
क्युकी आज मैने उसकी हत्या की।
हा, मैने उसे मार डाला
बहुत तड़पाती थी अकेले में।
हा, में तन्हाई का हत्यारा हूं।
