We are
two poems
chasing quietly
each other's stories,

our words unspoken
as rhythm
sinks herein,

but dreams
mellow, unmindful

like the stray leaves
of the fall.

There was a time, some time ago,
when the hardest thing was to let go.

But now there is far more at stake;
I will not make that same mistake.

Pushed to the edge, I will not stall.

There are friends & there are friends,
Some see you as means to ends,
Some are nice & do mean well,
Some will make you go through hell.

Now, I don't know which kind you are,
But I'll tell you what I've learned so far:
Stick with me through good & bad
And I will do the same, comrade.

I 'm missing the days
I used to
miss you.

With you
not missing me;
I guess,

the closure came easier.

The human heart is a very strange place :

The more it fills, the more there's space.

Her single glimpse locked the clock,
don't ask me how my love was unlocked.

Her hair & my fingers were committed;
Aah,
what a tender love,
I admitted!
