ಕಪ್ಪು ಕಡಲೊಂದರ ಮುಂದ

ಬಂಧಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಭಾವವೊಂದು ನಯನದ
ಅಂಚಿನಿಂದ ಜಾರಿ ಸೇರಲೊರಟಿದೆ
ಸದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆಯೊಂದ

ಮಿಂಚಂತೆ ಬಂದ ನೆನಪೊಂದು
ಮಿಂದೆದ್ದಿದೆ ಭಾವ ಶರದಿಯೊಳು
ಧರಿಸಿ ನಿಶಬ್ದದ ಉಡುಗೆಯೊಂದ

ಮನದ ಚಿಪ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿದ್ದ
ಬೇಸರದ ಪದಗಳ ಸಾಲು ಸದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದೆ
ಜಾರಿವೆ ಬೆರಳ ತುದಿಯಿಂದ

ಕೊರಳ ದನಿಯು ಕಡಲ ತೀರದಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು
ಬಿಕ್ಕಳಿಸಿದೆ ಕಾಲಿ ಆಗಸವ ನೋಡುತ
ಕಳುವಾದ ಮುಗುಳು ನಗೆಯ ಹುಡುಕುತ

My heart melts
With the sun setting down
It's not easy to face dusk
Specially when you have longings
Or when you lost your way
Or when you lost your love
Or when you failed in your life
But that's not the case with me
My melancholy is no problem to the world
But a big problem to my life
I am getting Antonio's vibes
Yeah he was correct
Some sorrow have no reason,
no solution and not even a proper explanation of the feelings within
The one who carries soothed heart is lucky
and may his luck go on

MELANCHOLY

My heart aches with a pain.
The agony has snatched the peace of my mind.
I can't enjoy the things that usually amuse me...
Drops of water are falling from my eyes.
My heart is heavy, my mind is restless.
The pain is my only companion.
This melancholy makes my soul feel distant from the joy of the Cosmos...
Though I feel lonely but I don't want a companion because my world of melancholy and pain isn't fit for anyone to reside...

And, as the droplets
Of rain showered upon
The helpless body of mine,
It sparked a chaos in me.

Even the stars seemed gloomy,
And, ceased in with the darkness.
As I'm left isolated with,
The endless distance between us.

Even the moon sighed,
And, started losing its shine.
As if it too felt the melancholy of,
Losing a loved one painfully.

The grief-stricken me,
Endured the emotion of being,
Locked up in a cold room,
Suffocatingly.

Fortunately, I started unlatching,
The endless possibilities for,
A road. A road for the light,
And a road, for unleashing the distress.
