Her leash.....

A red coloured, so weak
Leash tied as manacles
Cannot be untied, albeit bleak
They are not really shackles

Since birth ,she holds it
Not too loose nor too tight.
It would not let drift in gutter nor let lift
She holds it in plight.

As in kite, she holds the rope
Let the lonely kite fly
she can't control the wolf
But she holds the leash high

As the puppy wolf grows big and bad
She holds the leash tighter
Instilling the value of slaughter
Turning it into more of a protector than a fighter

She tells the wolf to lull her to sleep
And to kiss the death in her eyes
But still she keeps the secret
That the big bad wolf has become a puppy in disguise.

I cannot imagine my life
With her bleak rope unleashed
Clearly I don't want to die and or fly to high because I ain't afraid of knife.
Instead I would delightly prefer to be leashed.

Then: Leashes are for dogs....!!

Now:we humans too
have leashes...!!

Don't tie a piece of leash around your neck and give its end to devils and expect not to be get used according to their will and when time comes be gnawed by them repeatedly.

Never keep your pets by the window on leash. They get jealous of the butterflies.

The longer you'll hold me on the leash,
The farther I'll run when released.

Slaves of temperament & circumstance,
our unfortunate identity;
flimsy layer of sugar coating ,
cannot change the basic bitter character,
of domesticated animals,
on a suffocating leash,
straining to break free.


These chains,
will either cut our jugular,
or give away;
either way, resulting in liberation.

A flowing river
flirts between invisible lines,
christened borders
by landlords of prejudice,
just like the unbiased sun
shining true on both sides,
unjudgemental & relentless.
They are joined by the falcon
who ignores their futile attempts
to leash humanity
and the irreverent musician
whose melody & lyrics
don't jive to any man made faith.
