I woke myself up from a deep sleep after I felt a sweet little kiss on my nose. With my half opened eyes, I saw my wife smiling at me.
“Stop staring at me you creep.” I ran my fingers across her face trying to break the stare.
Kissing my fingers, she said, “You look like a baby while asleep.”
Before I could pull her into a hug, she resumed speaking. “Wait! Wait! It’s Kiss Day today and I have a challenge for both of us. So, the number is 100. Whoever steals 100 kisses wins and…” I landed a light and subtle kiss on her lips. It feels good to kiss her while she is speaking. She definitely didn’t see it coming. It took a few moments for her senses to come back alive.
Again she essayed to speak, “Ya! So, I was saying that,” before she could complete I kissed her again on her lips. A little harder this time. And she lost it again.
“Let me…” I kissed her again. Two quick kisses on her right cheek.
“Four,” I said, and continued kissing.
5 minutes later,
“100,” I shouted with joy.
“Ya. So, whoever steals 100 kisses wins and the loser owes a Pizza treat. Uggh!!!!! I hate you. You always do that to me.” She started smiling, rather embarrassingly, and buried her face in my chest.
