Today is World Idly Day
I always loved morning idlies with sambhar and coconut chutney.
Yummy. I am sure all of you had enjoyed the most nutritious
South Indian breakfast.

Upma is underrated.

You are as useless as 'i' in idly.
I can pronounce idly even without 'i'.
Dly will do. Just as much in idly.
Hence proved, I can live without U.

மிரட்டி கொண்டு இருந்தவளை
தலையில் தட்டினாள் அம்மா,
சிரித்து கொண்டார் அப்பா,
அத்தனை அவஸ்தையையும்
அப்பாவி போலவே பார்த்தது
தட்டிலிருந்த இட்லி...

"நடிக்காதே", என்றபடியே எடுத்து
கடித்தேன் நான் அந்த வெள்ளை வேதனையை.

Where momos are dipped in dosa's chutney
and Idly being served with Chole bhatura
