Dear Maa,
Your absence has turned my heart arid, much more than what it was when you were there, which was already too much, some would say. A friend crying over a broken relationship, a dead pegion on the side walk, a catastrophe in some part of the world, a dying relative, nothing stirs up the water in my eyes anymore. There are tsunamis on your name though, but no worldly chaos whatsoever can even create a ripple for I have guarded my oceans with colossal ships now. Ships with pitch black flags on them so I can camouflage into this black and white little world that it has become, where neither a celebration nor a funeral is loud enough to catch a splash of my commendation or condolence...
