Fireflies glitter dance,
In the midsummer twilight.
Glance spurts gaiety.

ज़िद पे अटक गई रात उसके खयाल की
अजब हालत खुद नींद से उठा नहीं जाता।
वैसे तो शेरो शायरी मै हम रहते है मसगुल
जब शियाकत को मिला वक़्त ,लिखा नहीं जाता।
किस तरह लोग चुन चुन कर ला रहे थे जुगनू
अंधेरों मै हर एक घर की सहूलियत के लिए
हमसे तो तितलियों को भी सताया नहीं जाता।
हां ठीक है मै हूं अपनी आदत से लाचार
बगैर दर्द, दिन का एक पहर भी ज़ाया नहीं जाता।
कर लेते हो जाने कैसे दगा तुम हर एक से यहां
हमें तो ये बात ध्यान में लाया भी नहीं जाता।
वो इक सख्स जो मशहूर है उठ कर जाने के लिए
मुझसे वो सख्स अब भी भुलाया नहीं जाता।
काट ली है हमने भी हिज्र ए दौर मगर
उसकी याद की शब ओ शाम,गुज़ारा नहीं जाता।

Fallen Paradise

I walk through redolent meadows of our broken destiny,
Over shattered promises and pernicious lies,
Through valleys of accidental entropy,
Over mountains looking down, considering my demise

Leaving behind crimson footprints,
Down a path of invisible light,
Into a world with rivers of venom
Perpetual darkness, eternal fright

Our bond was ineffable, a sort of fairytale,
Or so I thought before seeing your true self, unveiled
One last time I try to deny
These deceitful illusions that bring tears to my eyes

I wander through a paradise,
Blanketed by fallen fireflies

Bcz now your old fear is new chalange,
For the beginners and leave your
footprints so that they can
get strength to move on...

ये भी ना देखा हम उनके लिए जुगनू संजोए बैठे थे
