अगर धोखा जल्दी खाया होता.

मैं भी गिरकर फिर संभल जाता,
अगर अच्छा हमसफ़र मिल जाता.

मुझे तकलीफ़ ना होती मरने में,
अगर मुझे खंजर से मारा होता.

मैं फ़िर से मोहब्बत कर लेता "गोपाल",
अगर मुझे करीब से बर्बाद न किया होता.

Dear mother,
I have never told you that,
You filled my life with both happiness and pain,
So that i could learn to gain,
Your love is not any ordinary love,
But it is the form of love known as tough love,
Sometimes i get mad over you,
But inside my heart i love you,
I may not be able to express my feelings,
As i have never thought about these dealings,
But i can say this to you,
That most of the times i really love you,
I never express my feelings to you,
But the truth is I love and care for you,
Most of the times you oppose me,
But sometimes you also support me,
I have seen you working day and night,
I used to think how it gives you flight,
I don't know what to say more,
But i think i love you as a whole.

An omen or a reality
It was hard for me to recollect
What I was experiencing in the vicinity
Was an ordeal of goosebumps at every moment
Her body stood stock-still
Like death approaching at the doorsill
Her feet remained motionless
Eyes clueless
Face emotionless
and my mumma remained senseless
Her nose covered with a mask
In sort of some deception to the angels of death
Her head covered with layers of bandages to an infinite depth
My hands lifted in some prayers
Begging the almighty to lend me his ears
Eyes gush forth the tears
Moving towards the CCU from the ICU
Every moment passing in a downcast hue
A journey much sturdy
Hard to march steadily
She opened her eyes in dispair
Who are you,said she in unison with pain and fear
Tears rolled down my eyes in desperation
Mumma it's me,your son,cried I in affection

She is not Great because
she carried you for 9 months
And gave birth. Probably because she
stood by you all these years of your life.
Certainly because there's no better
alternative of God in this world.
Surely, Mothers are Greatest of All.
