That led me to hem
The gray raiment of mine existence,
With those stolen constellations-
Now twinkling like the pale sockets of a new bride,
To whom, sorrow has unveiled its face,
By suffusing her fresh mehendi
With the toxic aroma of those last breathing,
Gifted by her beloved husband!
