I was a comet roaming alone in empty space.
Clueless, wandering in search of any known face.
In a sky full of stars, i held darkness hidden inside my crust.
Afraid to share, as it may outbrust.
Then i saw a planet full of life, dancing some distance far.
Holding water that can even extinguish a flaming war.
Letting myself get pulled by the spells of her charms,
Now i feel trapped under the cages of her arms.
Struggling now, looking for a way scape,
My shadows are blocking my way taking her shape.
Once i was a comet free to roam, now i am trapped in her decorated dome.

In order to reach the core of a planet he loved,
The comet used everything he had, to win back his beloved.
But already being hurt and considering love a danger,
The planet now wore a armor made up of anger.
When planet's anger turned to fire, faced comet's cold heart,
The battle ended up giving comet a more deeper cut.
Lost everything in the battle, the comet collided with planet's crust,
And the sound of collision reminded him of the cries of broken trust.
All the planet again left with, is the souvenir of her scarred core,
And the smokes of comet's memories once again making her sore.

Comets in our night sky,
they appear for a little while,
and poof, they are gone!!

we let our faces sag down
to the ground in depression,
and, miss the divine celestial events
