As I was walking
along the shore of a lake,
I had to choose between a
soft, black, tatty pebble, and
a dazzling, pellucid, flawless
diamond. Incontinently my
senses fell for the latter.
Little did I knew, the glints
would turn me blind; the
glamorous, indefectible, acute
edges would make me bleed.
