Distant and distracted,
Shadowed by the vast window,
Desperate she wants to comprehend life's meaning.
She gazes at the birds soaring high up in the sky,
Closing her eyes to relish the cool breeze,
Yearning to fly high,
And let her life to be at ease.
Obsessed thoughts of freedom engulfs the teenager in floral,
Who seeks for nothing but happiness,
As she'd hop without trouble,
And give away all her distress.
Hurling all her pain and worries,
Brushing away the sorrows onto the clouds,
Reminiscing the childhood memories,
She'd sing out the song of freedom aloud.
She longs for a life without restriction,
Attaining a significance,
Amid a gender discrimination,
In a society of male dominance.
Little does she know that a life where all fears gain liberation,
Is nowhere, but beyond the horizon!
