Being a woman,
doesn't mean I crave for respect.
Nor want you to devote me
in the name of goddess.
I am expecting a place
where my gender isn't an issue
to discuss about.
And my physique isn't a cause
to harm me.
Live. And let us to live.

Feels like being a diamond, sparkling its strength with grace.
Feels like being cloud and air, hiding their fierce delicately.
Feels like being black and white at the same time. Black because I have every hue of life, I absorb every thing life gives me. White because, even after suffering bitterly, even after enjoying cheerfully, I remain pure, tranquil and at times even stoic.

It feels like being an epitome of continuity, because I shed blood periodically and recreate it for the next, as if the whole universe is created and destructed within me.

Being a woman is being supreme, because the
Almighty sends the souls to me so that I can
create a body of flesh, blood and bones for them
and nourish them with my ichor inside my womb.

Women's Day is not about celebrating a gender but what constitutes a woman.

I'm forced to behave
like a touch-me-not.
While, I wish to thrive like
a cactus, wild and free.

Women's Day is over;
unfortunately,
Not crime against them.

A child's divine
God's wonderful creature
Mankind's best ever feature.
Someone's wife
carrying a life within
Someone's daughter
someone's reasons for laughter.

Is about being tough and soft both at once,
Being a woman is about bleeding but not dying
Being a woman is about tackling up with society's bullshit and
Being a woman is all about not being affected by all these things and stay strong...

She returned home and sat on the couch
Resting her head on a cushion, she fell into a light sleep.
A voice reached her ears in a few mins,
'Why are you sleeping here like this?
Go sleep on the bed comfortably!'

On listening to just the 1st line she perched up
and adjusted the neckline of her dress in a flurry.
