Why is a balcony
not referred to as a room
when as a matter of fact
it often has
maximum room?

BALCONY IS SUCH A INTIMATE SPACE


Standing over a narrow four-foot balcony
beside you gazing at the bright cerulean sky
and marshmallow clouds. My feet touching
your feet as we embrace the gentle breeze
pecking our cheeks making a soothing
symphony. My hands feeling the warmth
of your palm holding a half cup of coffee
with an underlying aroma of lavender
blossoms. My head laid on your shoulders,
eyes sinking, heart skipping, lips drenching
and fingers fondling in pleasure.
Every corner has a story to tell surrounded
by nature narrating a simple life.
Balcony is such a intimate space.
You are life to my empty balcony.

Standing in the balcony with tea
I find unusual glee
I see the pedestrians walking
The little boy cycling
People hustling in the little shop
Some making way to their job
The day is so bright
And it is a magnigicient sight
The wind blowing soothes my face
I could not ferret a better place

2am+Balcony+Slow music+A chilled bottle of beer= life feels a little less complicated.

RAIN

I was standing there in my balcony like any other rainy days,stretching my hand for the drops to touch my soul.My eyes though looking for that one person who loves to kick football in this rain.
Everytime he played in the rains somewhere I got drenched by the water that touched him.But maybe because he plays with the foot,so his eyes weren't strong enough to catch the glimpse of me waiting for him to enter the playground everyday.But that day,I couldn't find him.All of his friends were there playing the same old tricks to catch my attention but the one my thirsty heart was looking was still missing.I somehow got a lame excuse to go out on the roads which were by then deserted and wet.With my umbrella half-tilted I left no single chance for the rain drops to touch me.I headed towards his house which just few more meters from ours.But all trials went in vain when even after ten long minutes,I couldn't find him anywhere.Losing every hope of seeing him I was on my way back.My steps and beats suddenly stopped as I found him just in front of me.He took my umbrella and said"It's not always a great plan to watch other people getting wet in rain.Sometimes,you just got to do the same."

My balcony holds
so much of me that
that it might scream
windy someday.

Incidentally, we are again in our Balconies, with earphones...
But this time we are not blushing on the phone
While talking to each other,
But listening to songs.

A balcony, stands out
Holding its place
In the house,
A balcony, allows you space
As little as it can brace
A balcony, throws you close
To the nature's dose
A balcony, keeps you hidden
From the crowd inside the house
A balcony, lets you in
To let out your creepers within
A balcony, makes you fly
In imaginations so high
A balcony, that makes you write
Is 'THE' balcony so right!
