मन के कच्चे थे, दिल के सच्चे थे
ना खुद की फिक्र थी,ना जमाने की
दिल खोलकर हँसते-रोते थे......फिर
फिर क्या
दिल से दिमाग तक का सफ़र,
सुकून से ज्यादा पैसे कमाने की ललक
आँसुओं को मुस्कुराहटों में छुपाने का हुनर
मन में लोग क्या कहेंगे का रोग......हाँ
कुछ इस क़दर समझदार हो चलें हम।।

कक्षा की आख़री बेंच पर सर रख कर सो जाया करते है
और फिर तुम संग पूरी रात फोन पर वक्त जाया करते है

Walking with hundreds but still alone,
Riding back to old memories where all were mine own.
Happy days with childhood innocence
When we even don't know who are friends;
Had problem in solving 2+2=4
But now one has to remember Newton's law of gravitation for sure.
Time passes things changes,
We only have to keep patience ;
It's all game of life
To which one can not deny.

कूदता-भागता सा 'बचपन' वहाँ आके रुक जाता है
जहाँ वह हमउम्रों को 'आप' कहना शुरू कर देता है

ये जो लोग,
इश्क़ की बारिश चाहते है।
ज़रा मुझे भी बताए,
कि कौनसा पानी चाहते है?

In between
having wounds on our knees,
And having wounds on our heart
We grew up.

गिरते तो बचपन में थे पर
'चोट' अब ज़्यादा लगती है

I was a child,
Unknown to this world.
Flowers used to attract me,
Smiles cheered me up,
Everyone seemed good,
Everything was beautiful,
Even strangers were nice.

But now when I am an adult,
Known to this world,
Only thorns are there in the
plants.
Smiles changed into dangerous
Smirks.
Everyone looks suspicious,
Everything is dark,
Even familiar ones are now
wicked.

The world changed or
I was wrong when I was a child?
