It’s been a while since I have even read it.

The child in me died when I saw a child begging on roads.
The mother in me was born when I decided to adopt an underprivileged child and give him/her the best of what a parent can give.

Inspite of the fact that he was adopted.
"Maybe they keep him too busy in US." they said with teary eyes.

Give it with care all that it needs,
Love it like you love a dear one,
Watch it grow with utmost fun.

Nurture it like a baby,
Feed it with water daily,
Adore it like your own child,
Stroke it with touch soft and mild.

Love it like a mother,
Protect it like a father;
And watch it grow wild and free,
Into a large magnificent tree!

This monsoon let's not plant a tree,
And just watch it with folded knee;
Let us not say that we can't,
This monsoon let us all adopt a plant!
