I wish I were a Lego piece
And you were too
And then we could be one
With just a click

After the thunderstorm,
After our rainy cycle ride,
I saw the moon rising,
Somewhere near the horizon.
I opened up my window,
Welcoming the light it had
To offer and bless my moment.
Grabbing my bits and pieces,
I'm getting ready to start afresh.
I call you, As I watch the moon,
Flooding my room,
With its silvery light.
"I'll be waiting for you"
My speakers are humming.
I bathe in moonlight,
You're endlessly talking.
From the horizon to overhead,
Moon has traveled a long way.
You're speaking
while I try to sush my tears.
Like lego, life is taking away pieces.

Pain is a lego piece.
We gather it from lost places;
behind the pillow, in the drawer,
under the sofa, and put it all together.
Sometimes stacked, often dumped.

And, after having grown over it,
the memory only makes us smile.

LEGO HOUSE - A short story

And then one cold January morning I woke up to realise that it was my last cup of coffee in that apartment.
I sipped coffee and watched my brother packing his toys in a carton. I sat there in a corner.. watching our apartment getting empty, slowly but steadily.. cartons replaced the furniture and carpets.

Poetry is a lego piece.
We place colourful words over each other
and top them with yellow faced punctuations.
We set it neat in a corner. Proud. Happy.

Yet, there are times when
we take it down piece by piece.
And put it in the attic. Until one day,
that we step over it again.

Life is like LEGO
Brick by brick we build relations
Some fit well while some don't
Beautiful sets are the ones
we keep in showcase,
rest all get broken,
only to be replaced.
