Holding my phone in my hand,
I kept on waiting;
For it to ring.
My eyes racing from the clock,
To my phone's screen.
My heart beating heavily with every tick on the clock,
My mind loosing it's calmness;
And my smile broadening with every second.
And then the moment came;
The phone rang loudly.
Adrenaline rushed through my veins,
And my soul danced inside me.
But then a sudden thought clicked my brain,
All my excitement went into vain.
So I kept my phone down,
Silencing the ring;
I pretended to be busy.
