મારી વાહ્લી દીકરી

દીકરી આવી ને નવું જીવન લાવી,
ઢગલા બંધ ખુશીઓનો ખજાનો લાવી.

લક્ષ્મિના રૂપમાં મારી ઢીંગલી આવી,
રિદ્ધિ સિદ્ધિ ને પણ સાથે લાવી.

લાડકી મારી લાડ કરવા આવી,
વિસરાયેલુ મારુ બચપણ સાથે લાવી.

દીકરી મારી પપ્પાનું ધ્યાન રાખવા આવી,
ને મમ્મીના મનને સમજવા આવી.

દીકરી મારી બસ દેવા આવી,
નથી કાંઈ તે લેવા આવી.

When I was in a relationship,I used to sleep early morning after late night chats. My father's loud voice to wake me up would make me irritate those days and I used to behave rude with him.
But the day I broke up my Dad was the only one to listen my screaming silence and those hidden tears. I slept on his lap and he wiped my tears.
Next morning he wake me up with the same loud voice but shockingly I woke up with a SMILE because I felt I haven't lose anything. He still does the same thing and I Love it.

Everyone saw her in the bridal dress except to the wet eyes on a smiling face, for whom, she is still the little daughter wearing skirt & top.

"Dad, will you buy me a diamond ring?"
"No. I won't."
"But why?"
"Because, I'm incapable of choosing the best colour for you."

Replied a father who donated both the eyes to his daughter.
