I open my eyes and observe the grey sky.
It is raining once again.
A bleak autumn day
The gloomy atmosphere
surrounds me.
Is there any hope?
Is there any hope left for the world?

Waiting

I have counted months and years
Separated from thee.
The time has changed,
My seed turns into a tree.
The seasons change, and
Autumn winds begin to blow.
Leaves change color, and
They start falling, fast and slow.
My happiness lies in watching
These days passing by,
The sun, the moon, and the truth,
All seem to drift and dry.
But still awake by the door,
Waiting the whole day,
To hope if by chance you come my way.
Meanwhile, promises fly,
Whirling, twirling all around,
Till at last, they fall on the ground.

Heartbreak is like Autumn.

The fading and falling leaves from trees
are beautiful, just like memories;

In the end, the trees stand tall and bare
with every single leaf stripped off
and dead on ground,
yellow, green, orange and red
hues of every colour metamorphosed;

Right that is a blissful sight to behold,
A melancholic story untold
while your heart goes through
every piece that has ever been shattered.

When your heart is broken beyond repair,
the whole world seems half dead,
Autumn is the graveyard you wander through.

Sweet love has gone by
with no way to come back for,
Heart hopes for that spring to come by
when it’s the winter you prepare for.

Heartbreak is like Autumn, I said,
For all the bittersweet pain hidden inside.

Autumn has come
Arising the gray with it's windy hum,
Birds have gone in search of its home
And I mourn as I roam,
All the leaves have fallen
And so are my woes stolen.
Stomped under the feet,
Oh these crusty leaves in the pit;
In Winter, let me find you a tomb,
So that you can lay like in womb.
Tell the undead what you've suffered,
And with scars, never be flustered!
If you ever get some time to spare,
Deliver my letters to your Spring sister with care.
And when she comes adorned in colours so fine,
Tell her to spare some to this dreary heart of mine.
And when the wistful Summer drains me in crumbs,
I hope I might rise again when Autumn comes.
