With the brushes so thin
and with the colors
without any spin-
bought at an unfair price,
everyday she flies
and paints the skies

Sometimes, in our relationship, I feel like the third friend in a group of three friends.

The other two with slightly stronger bond are you and your love for me.

Maybe, your love
was in the notes
hidden by lyrics

I guess I got the lines right,
but missed the why's behind
you singing them to me

This morning, when I was travelling for work, I saw a 3-year-old girl, in a jeep running next to our vehicle. She was waving at me.

And let me tell you, I have a nature and a face that doesn't draw kids. But today, she was there, waving hands at me.

I could not take my eyes off her, just like how I keep staring those elegant powerful ladies at Goa and Shringeri. Like how I forget praying, and keep staring.

Her face, was brighter than those with her. I wonder how.

Her smile, you know wasn't childish. I wonder how.

Her flying kiss, you know I cannot tell what it made me feel. It made me feel relieved, hopeful, loved, cared and all the good things at the same time.

Her flying kiss reminded me to look through the dust. And I did. I smiled.

To be the one
you wished you had
when you were younger,
to someone else now...

...is as easy as
leaning your back
on a pillow, and
looking back from
behind your closed eyes

...is as difficult as
aligning the pillow
to your back
when it's aching
with blind cries

The Sea tastes sails, and the sails test the sea.
It's how the water moves and does not move at all.

It's why the birds of flocks fly together, and why not.

When the winds are high, and the waters deep; we judge

It's why we move, and not at all
And if judgement creates no better movement; why to judge at all?

People around judge you. You judge people.

This is a basic instinct, a proclivity furnished to adhere groups of people sharing similar mindsets, to circumvent uncomfortable situations or to ensure better management amidst such discomforts.

Judging people is a tool for balanced survival and progression.

Nevertheless, if you are judging people for reasons apart from that, you ought to rethink if it's worth it.
