Once it rained and we glanced eachother.
That's when we had shared our souls.
Your eyes sang to me & mine to yours.
They met & gossiped, but not in words.
We stood still.
& watched the medley of feelings.
That's when we were apart by miles
but still felt each other's tears and smiles.
But who ever knew...
today I could stand just next to you,
Whilst feeling all emptiness.
Now we could say time played us sabotage.
And all you did was let miles creep within us.
We're getting too old counting distance in miles.
While we know our separeted hearts stole away our smiles.
Can you recall it?
How the colours faded,
& how it drove us off the road.
Can you not just be cold?
You could have swept those so called miles that were gradually breaking our heartstrings.
Couldn't You?
I could have been cold & stood still & accepted our fate so evil.
Couldn't I?
I watch, I care, I cry.
The distance hurts
and it always will....
but you ask me to leave
& I'll drift away.
So far that miles could never be counted.
So far that you wouldn't remember, I ever existed. -R
