The Gift of poetry is not a pre requisite to enhance the aromatic atmosphere of the blossoming bond of affection. Even if one doesn't write poetic pieces for the person h/she loves, it's absolutely fine, which is what I feel, although, I am not against the ones who write, too.

I believe, together if their lives can manifest the eloquence, elegance and beauty evident in the sentiments expressed in a poem then that's more worthwhile. Plethora of writings will have no meaning if Love doesn't flow like a free verse or undulate like a rhyme.
Let the poetry personify itself.
