It's been ages since I let myself fall
Bell bottomed tears down into a pool
Still on the other side of the pane
Tracing journeys with fingers full of rain
Re routing at a touch of the glass
When I fall I fall fast

Dandelion.

Meet me in the meadow
Where yellow summer dresses
Fall off of shoulders
Where wishes grow
From bare skin
Clouds fall and root in the soil
To wait for summer to
Slow down breath
Exhale now
Make a wish.

I wish your dreams had
Left patterns on the moon
So I could of traced
them back to you

Stop trying to heal me
For its only when I bleed
Red rain
I feel you
You live in my pain
Healer clocks time heal
You're the face on this clock
They're trying to steal
Your memory is not enough
Some might say that's
A mourners greed
Time can not heal a, heart
That will always bleed.

The wolf howls
For he has won
The affection
Of the fallen sun
His fur still warm
A golden reflection
He howls To show
His true affection
A heart wrenched ballard
A haunting tune
Sung in the shadows
Of the waning moon

Pick your fight
They told me
So today
I pick tomorrow

I walk trying to get nowhere
Quicker
While deciding that
that is it
I am a shape shifter
Becoming what you want
Me to be
But I prefer the shapes
From the bracken and ferns
My skin doesn't feel tight
When I'm wearing them
I prefer this shape
When I'm here In the nowhere
I squeeze through fences
Oozing self
I please no one here
So why do the leaves
Fall from my branches
Rejecting the seasons
You lay on your back
And see me in the clouds
No one ever sees the same
Your eyes choose
Playfully
I am neither that or those
I am bracken and ferns
And I grow in the nowhere.

Look up.
Maybe close your eyes
Nigel says its easier
To listen and think that way

Red kite jumper feeling
Worn at the edges
Easier to hide
Colour faded
Keeping
him safe inside
Walking boots
And walls of hats
Late night escapes
To the pub perhaps

Eyes closed
Easier to think
Pause for a moment
Take a drink
Anger boils
At the leaders of men
Promises broken
It will get better
But when
Comfy sweaters
In Liverpool bliss
Everything feels better when
Swimming wth weird fish
Walking sticks aren't needed
When the red kite sings
But look up now and see
Two pairs of wings

Words use to rattle inside me
When I shook
Falling from me like autumn leaves
Beneath the faraway tree
In a childhood book
But you took one last breath
And blew
Blowing through all the trees where my words once grew
Now I stand naked stripped bear
Everything but a lifeless sail
Grief so hopeless even my words fail
I use to rattle when I shook
But now the ink has run from this poetry book
