My sapphire
You're my sun, you're my star,
You're the ocean that I can't ever reach
Sorry, but it's unfair
The way you touch me on the sea shore
With your cunning waves.
It would've been better if
You were a lad from an imaginary land
Whose distance from mine isn't enough to fill with gallons and gallons of sand.
But you are here,
My ruby, my emerald, my diamond, my sapphire,
A precious thing who wouldn't embrace me
And I'm here, a lovelorn lass, hoping for you
While I lay on my bed after earning my daily wage.
