For some the life did halt,
While hers ended.

Hearts are sinking
While the whole nation dies
Of the oxygen
A vital element
Which didn't appear so necessary
Ever before
Hospitals all full and so are hearts
Empty pockets, families falling apart
Generosity is the need of the hour
Yet some corrupts won't leave that bar
To loot, to cheat, to spread terror
People crying their lungs out
Seeking help for their beloved
Dead bodies lined up
Mass cremations
And yet the hoarding
Of medicines, of the vital air
Of the hospital beds
Leaving us all in despair

With a baby in life,
Days are no more days,
Let alone the nights.
The aching back, the tired legs,
The thumping head, and the messy bed.
Become a part of you as sighs

You wake up early to make some time,
She gets up earlier to be the task so prime.
She plucks the laptop keys off, shuts the window down,
Working with the baby is toughest task in town.
Her naps smoothen my life, but there's always a fear,
She'll get up all charged, with no sleep at night, oh dear!

Even with the drained energy, I can hold her up in my arms,
That "mamma" in her sweet voice, instills back all the charm.
With a baby in life,
It becomes a roller coaster ride.

High and lost?
Try not!

She was pretty,
But not happy.

Husband: Hey why are you still up? Are you unwell?

Me: oh! I'm all well, but my baby isn't.

Can I have a 36 hour day?
Or 48 maybe.
A little extra to sleep,
A little extra to sweep,
A bit here to tidy myself up,
A bit there to keep my calm.

Watching her take her first step ever🐥
I was on cloud number 9 ☁️
Now that I have to run after her🏃‍♀️
I so wish this one wasn't mine😂
Drawers are all open and stuff littered around,
She's the one incharge of all lost and found.
A mother so tired, I can't just run anymore,
And the moment she see me sitting,
She runs further to explore......🐥🐥🐥🐥

You'll be alright, tell yourself today,
It's a brand new year standing your way,
2020 went by as if it wasn't there,
Let's welcome this new one with all the cheer.
Places you didn't goto, people you didn't meet,
This one will bring them all together to greet.
With hopes and dreams alive again,
Let's begin this one with the mind all sane.
