365 Beginnings

Everyday when I close my eyes,
While only the tattered memories rise,
Causing a deep pain hard to hide,
Like a pitted road, so damn wide.

The unreal questions do not subside,
The self-doubts never leave your side,
The peak surge in emotions continue,
Like a sharp needle piercing through.

But hope builds up when I realise,
Self-help will make things materialise,
Each Day of the year is a new one,
To start afresh and to be won,

Life offers 365 beginnings,
To recollect all the lost footings,
All hope isn't lost at the end of the day,
Remember!! There is always a way.

As The Year Goes By...

The edge of the year nears swiftly,
Brimming with the stiff testing Tide,
Ardor to resist the times imbued deeply,
Exhibiting the radical human mind.

It's a game of numbers these days,
As statistics define the measure of lives,
The florid shouding of the existing blaze,
Has silenced the murmurs of desperate cries.

Lives have taken an abject recourse,
In an attempt to fight for it's endurance,
But,Spirit to repel and evolve is forever endorsed,
Thus giving a hope to rise above the atrociousness.

A Sigh of Resilience

The thud of stupor is so loud at times,
That for a complacent mind is hard to accept,
That by the time the limits cross their lines,
Gets drowned within grief when it intercepts.

When bound within the confines of endless walls,
As the loom of hope slowly diminishes,
When there ain't a ear to one's loudest call,
Is when a resilient spirit pushes it boundaries.

Someday it's a need,
Other days it's just natural,
The urge to write and read,
Is outwardly magical.

Hope the mutual love never ceases,
And the thoughts never get dry,
For the art to surpass the artist,
Is ever that am gonna always try.

With it's scenic beaches of contrasting Hues,
Lush mountains and rivers blissfully intertwined,
Thus offering everyone alike a heavenly view.

The ever shining elegant and bright sunlight,
Is like being dipped in an enchanting coat of Gold,
The gushing waters provide a pleasant sight,
To the generations, young and the old.

The landscape turns into a visual treat,
As different seasons come and go,
The pallet of colours that the eyes meet,
Is like divinity, that sinks in steady and slow.

It is renowned for its relaxed spirit,
And for the unquestionable ardour for melodies,
The passion and fire for sports is forever lit,
As for the Famed seafood that attracts all foodies.

Its roots lie deep in faith and traditions,
Balancing ancient and modern consciousness alike,
While existing within many cultures and religions,
This tiny state has carved it's niche amongst all regions.

I dwell as the ocean flows its natural course,
As the troughs and the crests leisurely flows,
With the skies above; blissful and coarse,
And the winds gushing past as it swiftly blows.

The warmth of silence seeps in rapidly,
Cold air sets the mood of thoughtful radiance,
As the scent of the vast sea stimulates timidly,
Fueling a pensive insight of a spiritual irradiance.

The beauty ahead has no volumes to speak of,
A picturesqueness that no sum can bargain,
Takes a stressed mind to a solution thereof,
To seek the depths of beatitude time and again.
