As I sit by the window I look at the rain
Images of a little girl flash by...
Short hair and a mini frock
She kneeled in front of a stream and pushed her paper boat.
It's the rain she once played in...
Images change to an older girl
Braids and uniform
Chasing her friends in the rain, laughing all the way
It's the rain she once shared with her friends..
Another flash,
The long hair and high heels
As she felt all the excitement from having a kiss
It's the rain she once shared with her lover..
Flash...
She sat by the window
A coffee mug with her favourite book
It's the rain she once found comfort in..
So, why does it feel so empty now?
I look at the rain and I wonder,
Was it a dream? Or was it memories?
I don't remember...
The rain I once shared my favorite memories with,
is the rain I don't wanna share anything with again...
