AI- Progress or Regress
Over a decade ago, students would have to spend hours searching in the library to find information on their study topics. But now, with the help of AI tools, a lot more information is available as soon as the search button is pressed. A student can get the answer to an advanced math or physics question in seconds. This makes the AI tool act like a guide to the students. However, at this stage, the question emerges: whether this AI development is good or bad with respect to the academic well-being of the individual. I believe it is a boon and will help students learn things in a lot less time.
I believe there are numerous advantages to the current use of AI. Let's consider the case of ChatGPT. It collects data from a wide variety of sites and presents it to us in an organized manner. It can even perform tasks like preparing code, writing essays like this one, or forming long answers. Moreover, it can provide feedback when asked by the user. For example, a student can inquire about the meaning of each command in a code, and ChatGPT will provide detailed explanations, thus helping the student learn in a healthy manner.
— % &Using AI properly also gives students the opportunity to work as freelancers and earn money for their study expenses. With the help of AI, students can save a significant amount of time searching for answers. AI also assists students in finding opportunities related to college applications, grammar checking and modification, and more. It can offer suggestions to make content more engaging. Due to all these reasons, AI will prove to be very helpful in academic enhancement and help students improve their learning capabilities.
— % &However, the incorrect use of AI can be detrimental. Sometimes, students become overly dependent on AI to the extent that they lose their academic capabilities. Additionally, with many jobs being replaced by AI, students must constantly strive to keep themselves updated. A good strategy may be to develop both vertical and horizontal skills. Horizontal skills are those skills expected from students during their study course, while vertical skills are complementary skills developed that are not directly related to the course.
With technology constantly evolving, one can ponder the potential impact of AI in the future, considering its current stage. There are high chances that students will be graded based on how effectively they utilize AI tools. Consequently, there may be relatively less emphasis on a student's memory since all information will be readily available at a click through AI. FEAR OF UNCERTAINITY OF FUTURE
It is easier to predict a planet’s trajectory compared to a person’s life journey. We make choices based on various parameters, such as their impact, our capabilities, our goals, and priorities. The fear of uncertainty in life makes it challenging to make such decisions.

My father says, “You should move forward even in the dense fog as it clears with the sunlight,” and “There are many trains at the station; if you miss one to a beautiful place, search for the one that will take you to an even more beautiful place.” I have been practicing what these quotes imply, and I have found that by embracing them, the fear of uncertainty vanishes away. This uncertainty becomes a surprise element, which makes decision-making process more enjoyable.

I think that if we have gratitude for this particular moment, we will surely live a beautiful future. Gratitude helps us choose better choices by keeping our minds clear. Living better today will create a beautiful past in the future, while at the same time signaling to the Universe for a bright future ahead.
