Darkness covered every part of her as if protecting her from the light she is afraid of.
She was born in darkness,
But even if she were given a choice,
She would choose darkness over light,
Her flaws, her mistakes,
Everything is hidden, all that can break
her, if and when revealed in light,
So, she fights,
Stick to the dark,
like a queen of darkness,

नज़रों में रखा क्या है?
खेल तो नज़रिए का है।

किसी के चले जाने के बाद
दिखावे का मेला लग जाता है,
और उस मेले का हिस्सा बनने
सब चले आते है।

वैसे तो मन में बेर लिए
घूमते-फिरते है सदियों तक
पर, इक उस दिन
दिखावे की ओढ़नी पहने
"मेरा ग़म सबसे उपर,"
बार-बार चिलाते है।

ना दुख में, ना बुरे वक्त में
आकर खड़े होते नहीं
और सुख की कुछ बौछारे पड़ते ही
आ जाते है भीगने संग में।

ये कैसा ख्याल है?
जो किसी के मरने के बाद ही आता है?
ये कैसी फ़िक्र है जो जाने के बाद ही होती है?
परवाह तो आज होती है किसी के जाने के बाद तो बस मलाल रह जाता है।

ऐसे फसें इस शंका के भंवर में,
की खुद को खुद से ही शिक़ायतें होने लगी।

गुज़रे ज़माने की बातें करते है,
इस आज में हम कल को जीते है,
बिता वो अब क्या आएगा?
