A time comes in your life when you must decide between what you feel and what you know. You must choose between your mind and your heart, between love and the truth. Sometimes, the love you feel will hide the truth from your mind; but seldom from your soul. The bond between your heart and your mind is the strongest and one will try and overpower the other at all times. But neither one, alone, or together, can overpower your soul, for they do not possess the ability, nor the strength. Only your soul guide you, and when the time does come for you to make a decision, you must be prepared for an inner conflict between your heart and your mind, so painful it can only be overcome by the strength your soul can provide. This is when you must force yourself to realize that your heart and your mind are the only links to your soul; they are controlled by your soul, and can act as one when you allow your soul to GUIDE YOU.

Everything that is truly right for you will choose you as quickly as you choose it. Everything that is truly right for you will happen serendipitously and spontaneously. It will come to you when you expect it and when you don't, as both a surprise and a certainty. It will seem like such an obvious fact of your life and yet entirely new, all at once.
The truth is that we often come to believe that the things that are most right for us are the ones that give us the biggest emotions, and that is a mistake.
The things that are truly right for us give us the deepest emotions. Love is a pervasive, steady presence, not a heart-pumping dash of lust. Destiny is a subtle coincidence, it makes you stop and say, well, isn't it funny how that worked out.
The truth is that the things that are most right for us are also the easiest to miss, because they are often subtle at first.
Little things become big things over time, we just have to give them a chance. We just have to stay the course. We just have to realize that life will magnetize to us what is meant to be ours.

Everything that is meant for you will feel like a deep exhale, as though you are returning home to a place you forgot existed. We so often yearn and want for the things that help us escape who we are, but the things that are actually meant for us - the ones that arrive and stay - they make us feel a sense of steady calm. Trust me when I say, the right people will choose you just as deeply as you choose them. You will not have to beg for the love you deserve. You will not have to quiet the way your heart beats against your chest. One day, you will be met where you are. One day, you will be someone's favorite thing, and you will not be confused, you will not feel like you are fighting for someone who is not fighting for you. One day, you will understand that it never mattered how hard you held on to the wrong things, how much you tried, because the right things were always unfolding before you. You can love the people in your life more than the day before because you two still exist and you have the chance to better the quality of your relationships. Conflict is not an indication of a lack of love, nor does an effort to communicate mean that things are not going well.

These are the foundations of loving people. The foundation upon which so many beautiful things that are the result of love such as trust, peace, comfort, joy, and common grounds and growth.

We should know that difficult conversations are an invitation for vulnerability and therefore a greater level of intimacy. Conflict makes us know the person in front of us better so that we love them better.

Every tough round makes you stronger. There is no shame in fighting, in making mistakes and in making it work better than yesterday. This is what love and the journey of it is all about. We let all kinds of insecurities and fears get in the way of something that could potentially be good because of a societal construct that is misleading. Effort is underrated, but effort is so sexy.

ಆಕಾಶದ ತುಂಬಾ ಮಂಜಿನ ಹನಿಗಳು ಮೌನರಾಗ ಹಾಡುವಾಗ,
ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆಯ ಅವಸರದಲಿ ತೋಳುಗಳು ತೆರೆದುಕೊಂಡಾಗ, ತಂಗಾಳಿ ಬಂದಿತು.
ಅವಳೆಂದರೆ ವಿಪರೀತ ಚಳಿಗಾಲ!

ಹೊದಿಕೆ ಹೊದ್ದ ಹೂವಿಗೂ ಮೈ ನಡುಗುವ ಚಳಿ
ಘಮಲಿಗೂ ಸ್ವೆಟರ್ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತು.
ಕೆಂಡದ ಕುಲುಮೆಯಂತ ತುಟಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ತಣ್ಣೀರಿನ ಕೊಳವಾಗಿದೆ.
ತಿಳಿ ಮುಗಿಲ ತುಂಬಾ ತಿಳಿಗೇಡಿ ಮಳೆಹನಿ,
ಚಳಿ ಹೆರುವ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯಾಯಿತೇ ಭೂಮಿ!
ಆ ಭೂಮಿ ತೂಕದ ಕನಸ ಹೊತ್ತ,
ಅವಳೆಂದರೆ ವಿಪರೀತ ಚಳಿಗಾಲ!

ನಡುಗುವ ನಡುರಾತ್ರಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ಬಿಸಿಲೂರಲಿ ಬೀಡು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವಾಗ,
ಕಣ್ಣ ಕಂದಿಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕಿಡಿಯಾದರೂ ಹಾರಿಸು,
ಉಜ್ಜಿದ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಸಿ ಶಾಖದ ಶಾಖೆಯೊಂದು ಹುಟ್ಟಿ,
ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿಗಳ ಮೈಯೊಳಗೆ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯೊಂದು ಜೀವಿಸಲಿ
ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸನಿಹ ಬಂದರೂ ಕೂಡ,
ನೀರ ಮೈಯವಳಾದ,
ಅವಳೆಂದರೆ ವಿಪರೀತ ಚಳಿಗಾಲ!

ಕಾದ ಕನ್ನಡಿಯ ತುಂಬಾ ಬಿಸಿ ಬೇನೆಗಳ ಬಿಂಬ
ತುಸು ಬಂದು ಮುಖ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಹೋಗು,
ಚಂದ್ರನೆದೆಯ ಕಾದ ಕಾವಲಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಮಲೇರುವ ಅಮವಾಸ್ಯೆಯ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗು.
ಇರುಳುಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ತೀರಾ ತ್ರಾಸದಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೊರತು,
ಮೈ ಮರೆತಾದರೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡು ಚಳಿಯು ಚದುರಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ,
ಆದರೂ, ಅವಳೆಂದರೆ ವಿಪರೀತ ಚಳಿಗಾಲ!

ಸಿಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಚಳಿಗಿಷ್ಟು ಚರಿತ್ರೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ
ಪುಟಗಳ ತುಂಬಾ ನಡುಗುವ ಅಕ್ಷರಕ್ಕೆ ಚೂರು ಬಿಸಿ ತಾಕಿಸು,
ಹೊದಿಕೆ ಹೊದ್ದು ಮಲಗಿದ ಯೌವ್ವನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ತುಟಿ ಸೋಕಿಸು.
ಕಿಡಿಕಾರದ ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿ ನೀನು, ಮಂಜು ಹೊತ್ತು ಬಂದ ಹಿಮಗಿರಿಯ ಹಿರಿಮಗಳು.

"This isn't love yet," you tell yourself. But it's a little close to that. You're few moments away from tearing your walls down. The logical part of you is slowly disappearing. And you're acting like a kid again. You catch yourself smiling for no reason at all. You rest your chin above your hands, unconsciously daydreaming. "How did this happen?" you ask yourself. You look back on the day you first met, when he shook your hand, when you first heard her speak. Maybe his touch melted the coldness in your heart and you weren't aware of it at that time. Maybe when she sits inches from you, she was throwing signs that he was interested in getting to know you. Life is too short to fall for people who don't love you loudly, or for relationships that don't set fire to your soul. Our time on this earth is impermanent, and in the short years we must love fearlessly. The person you're meant to be with will challenge you, will push you, will make you crazy and happy and confused, and show you what real, complicated love is.
The person you're meant to be with will terrify you because they make you feel something. So this is what you need to know about love- you must always chase the person who scares you. Don't settle for comfort because it's familiar. Don't be content with what you know because there's a world out there waiting for you. And life's too short not to pursue that. Fall for the person who terrifies you because they have new ways of looking at the world, because they are different, because there is some unexplainable connection that is pulling you back to him or her, no matter how much you try to deny it.
Fall for the person who terrifies you because you feel something when you look into his or her eyes. and because scary is a change, a challenge, and both of those things will help you grow.
