The Friend-ship


It was a Just a cup of coffee, I thought,

It turned out to be a cup of happiness,

And now it's empty!!!

It was just a casual chit chat, I thought,

It turned out to be a perrenial song,

And the song is faded into a silent melody!!!

It was just a chunk of time, I thought,

It turned out to be eternity shrinking to a measurable quantity,

And now I would spend an eternity measuring it!!!

It was a random arrangement of crazy words, I thought,

It turned out to be a dictionary of friendship,

And now I would look-up for the word separation in it!!!

It was just an event in my life, I thought,

It turned out to be an event-trigger of my, otherwise eventless life,

And now it has triggered it's last event, a bittersweet one!!!

You are just a insane traveller, I thought,

You turned out to be the one, inspiring the traveller in me,

And now I'm on a voyage, sailing on the sea of solitude, on your friend-ship!!!
