My Lord You know best
about whats good for me
so I will stop my request
for how things should be.
You're the one who gives to me
and the one who takes away
a true sufi lives blissfully
with all that comes his way.

But I will do this tomorrow
for I still have one request
please remove this sorrow
that stabs me in my chest.
Maybe this is what You give
because it's what my soul needs
but I don't know how to live
while my heart slowly bleeds.
