And then there are times
when surviving and writing
doesn't feel much different.

Tell me that you've seen
my heart turning cold at times
and you will be there to wrap
blanket of your arms around.

Tell me that you've known
my cracks, flaws and worst habits
and you will let me know
yours too.

Tell me that you aren't
here just for a good time,
you're here to s t a y
little bit more than a lifetime.

It's like I'm a lone lostland
and you're that hustling
bustling city in me.

You keep me lively,
you're my limelight.

There's this
wondrous thing
about hurt,
it doesn't
really heal
until it teaches
you a lesson.

There's so much hope
in this stubborn human heart
that sometimes it has to
break itself, on its own
to let go.

Everytime I see people telling other people
how to treat them, it makes me wonder
does the moon ever have to tell the
stars about having to show up
after every dusk in order to call it a night?
No it doesn't, the nights are still
as calm, as beautiful even with
a starless sky.

Coz at the end of the day
moon knows its worth
and so should you.

Let go,
because you need to grow.
And most times it's the
reason enough.

Don't you crumble your
existence just to fit in someone
else's story about you.
Remember, you're a poem
that goes beyond the pages.

Everybody feels lost at times.
The point is not to save ourselves
from feeling lost but it's to save
ourselves from the resistance to
find ourselves again.
