When I think
Why I am unable
To write these days
The answer comes
Whether I am not
Truthful to myself
These days
Or my heart isn’t
Going with my brain
Or responsibilities
Have taken over
Creative sense.

For someone else
All of her beauties,
Love & imaginations
Are mine but
Lust for her belong to
Someone else
How even a
Glimpse of her smile
Or shy language of
Her eyelids are
Rewards to my heart
And how the whole nights
Translate into meaningless
Silences
For someone else !

How even an alphabet
Between her lips
Is a melody for hours
To my ears
And how hours of talking
Are mere exchange of words
Filling up void
For someone else
How even a touch
Of an inch of our bodies
Causes decoration of
Stars on the poetic canvas
And how her whole
Body is a vessel to pour
Frustrations
For someone else !!

Words & imaginations
Everything was love
But then realities
Made it absurd
Insecurities, fear,
Jealousy & toxicity
Filled them up
For forever !

You can take yourself
To the bar
And can laugh & dance
Until you want
You need no one
Who tries to condition you
Not to be real you
Who tries to blur your blaze
Darling take yourself out
From that cage alike hands
World can adjust &
For that you need no one
Who conditions
Your existence
You need no one
To fill up the time &
To devour your sleep
Winds are waiting for
You to hug
New days, new life
And new ways are
Waiting for you darling
You’re just one decision
Away from loving, living &
Laughing again
Let’s escape from your
Conditional existence !!

Letters
When I pass through
The places
Where we laughed once
My heart thuds faster
Than normal
When I get your notifications
Colours return to the world
Around me
When you wear smile
Of innocence while blush !

Baby I need you
From dusk till dawn
Not just for the love
Of body
But for my eyes to see,
For my ears to hear
And for togetherness
In every breath !

Him think
What he lived for
Before she
Became his !

Where no tags of
Relations are required
For togetherness
Meet me there
Where no societal
Impositions
Can make us loveless
Meet me there
Where we live in now
And not affected by
Insecurities & future !

Prey to escapism
Rather escape this
World together
To the place
Where only love
Matters
Where no tags
Of relations
Are required
To be with each other
Where no talks
Of securities
Are discussed
But only whispers
Of sweet nothings
Where there isn’t any
Trade of words
But only the blazes
In eyes & reflections
Of forever !

Life is so unpredictable &
So uncontrollable
Today, those are strangers
At one point of time
Who used to gaze forever
In each other’s eyes
Now, they just meet
In common memories
At different times
And different places
Now, they exist together
Just in their heads only !
