वो मोहब्बत थी जो बिखर गई ये दर्द है जो रह गया
वो साथ था जो छूट गया ये तन्हाई है जो रह गई

तू किसी रैल सी गुज़रती है,

There was silence between them,
silence with a voice.
When they sat on the shore together,
after so many years,
where the used to sit,
sometimes early morning or
sometimes late evening.
Sometimes holding hands or
sometimes her head on his shoulder.
And talked about everything,
from their present to the their future.
But, this time it was different.
This time,
there was rush of words,
so much to be heard,
so much to be said,
so many questions to be answered.
But neither of them could say anything.
All they could do is sit,
Sit silent.
And allowed the humid and
cold breeze do all the talking.
And they understood everything.
They understood the Silence.-
