लम्हों में जीने वाली ज़िन्दगी
सर्फ़ में लिपटे बह जाते है
भूल जाते है यादें
कुछ मसरूफ बनके
कुछ फ़र्दा बनके

हकीकत से मुँह मोड़ कर
अंधेरो को रोशन करने के ख्वाब देखते है
भूल जाते है हम-नफ़स
कुछ घुल बनके
कुछ तदबीर बनके

मानो या ना मानो
भूल जाते ही है लोग
कुछ मज़बूर बनके
कुछ मख्मूर बनके

कुछ इस तरह हम ज़िन्दगी जी लेंगे,
कुछ तुम बोल लेना,
बाकी हम सुन लेंगे।।
