Maybe the purpose of life is to struggle to learn; our ignorance and our way out of it.

We make a mockery of ourselves in ways unfathomable. It only takes one's crude ability to notice and observe - in our little actions - the facade that we put on for different personal reasons or mostly just for vanity.

And the more I observe, the more I seem to grow distant.

We are victims of cultural condition and we must introspect why we do what we do. We are not lost stars but plain sight egoistic and it takes a hard look on onself to see the curtains that shut you off from the open world of the unknown - cutting you from reality as is. If there is any meaning to life, it must be to dissolve your ego and look at reality as is and not how you want to look at it.

Will you sit with me an hour in silence if I say that that's the only time I have for you now?

From a vantage point, a higher dimension, we are just a dot in the cosmos; our lifetime a glimpse, and our existence nonsensical.

One lives not by meaning but through the will to find one.

Open the door, O' darling!
Let the madness inside
When it comes knocking
In the murkiness of the night.

Let the blackbird sing you to sleep,
Sleep; a little taste of death.
When the tears take their leap,
Be weepy as you can get.

In the solitude of the new moon,
Let the raven take its crown.
In delirium, you crawl across the dune
While your thoughts weigh you down.

The devil from a distant dream,
The gloomy eyes take a squint
With a dreary midnight's lament scream,
Unravels the labyrinth.

Close the door behind, O' darling!
Once you've let it inside
Don't just stand there snarling
In the murkiness of the night.

In this nonsensical riddle of existence, only you make a perfect sense.

Its a meaningless span of time, making you think there is an inherent meaning to all life. And you go in search for that meaning despite knowing there is none. And that fight against absurdity is a meaning in itself. That fight is what keeps us alive or otherwise we're just degenerate bodies.

Its too high to climb up the wall,
I try but I freefall
Whole, whole again
Its a bitter migraine

I'm tired all along
Sing me a mellifluent song
Downcasted and blue
If not a voice; a hue.

Across the canvass of starry night
I'd watch you take your flight
And the sound of silence
Echoing through the dawn
I start to run
To the point of no return.

I wake up to the sound of minarets
I can apperceive the horizon this evening
Amongst the fleeting birds, I drift away to their nest
As I subsist in the voice of the muezzin.

I call upon the voice of god
Through the ringing of bells
At its own temple abode,
I seek the depth of self.

The preachings are old
I walk with the apostles to the shrine,
In search of the holy lord
I find myself enticed with the eternity of time.

Mirrored self in the act of contemplation
As I surrender to the wisdom of the enlightened,
Marching on through the doors of perception,
Yet to find my way to the divine end.
